FAQ

We have taken the liberty of answering some of the more common questions we receive.

Since you are handling our insurance, bookkeeping and payroll, how do you protect our information?

All of your information is stored in secure cloud server and on the secure online platform. No information is ever stored or transmitted on our devices directly where it can be easily accessed. We never share any of our clients information with anyone without the express written consent of our client. We take your privacy very seriously.

How much information does our bookkeeper share with our agent and vice versa?

Only what is absolutely necessary. Your RBS Bookkeeper and Insurance Agent meet monthly to discuss your account. At this meeting questions like, "Our clients Workers Compensation policy is priced based on $250,000 in payroll broken up amongst these class codes by x amount each. Does this look like it is accurate or should we reach out to he client to discuss amending that?" Your RBS Insurance Agent does not have free access to your financial information. Compartmentalization is part of how we keep your information secure.

So does my Bookkeeper and Insurance Agent just make changes to my policy?

Never! Whatever conclusions are made based off of the discussions between your RBS Bookkeeper and Insurance Agent are first discussed with you. For instance, if you had estimated $100,000 in payroll for the year and were already at $90,000 in payroll by April, your Insurance Agent would reach out to you to discuss possibly increasing this. However, under no circumstances is your policy changed by us without your express written consent.
